FAQ's

Whats included in the price?

Pre shoot brief/consolation. Full shoot time. At least one* great high res edited jpeg image for you to print as many times as you like and so you can print for others, one lower res jpeg for sharing on social media, you'll also receive all your favourite remaining images (unedited).(*the number of edited images you receive depends on the package you choose).

What should I bring?

Family portraits. It would look great if you could all dress in plain neutral colours nothing to garish, preferably without logos and designs on. However if your little ones have a favourite t-shirt or colour we can work around it as the most important thing is for everyone to feel comfortable and happy, this is the way I like to operate to get the most natural pictures and to make sure its a fun experience for all.

Pet portraits. Bring their favourite toy/ball or treats, these small things could help to capture some great images and ensure your pet is happy which is the most important thing on the shoot.

Professional/headshots, make sure you have you hair done how you want it and that you are dressed in the clothing you wish to wear and have any changes of clothing ready so that we can maximise your shoot time.

Do you have Insurance and DBS certificate?

For your peace of mind I have both Public liability insurance and a DBS certificate and happy to show you at your request.

How do I get my images?

Online over google drive or on a USB (charges apply for USB)

Where do the photoshoots take place?

At your home, office, in your garden, local park, forest. It’s entirely up to you. I can help recommend some great locations in the local area if you’d like.

Why don’t you have a studio?

I like to work outdoors and with natural light most of the time and feel that because of this the results are also more natural. I do have the required equipment for at home and indoor shoots so not being dependant on weather. This is essentially a mobile studio that gives me the flexibility to shoot anywhere so I’m not restricted to a fixed location. Another benefit to not having a studio is the expense, having no studio helps me to keep prices low.

Can I get a Gift voucher?

Yes, you can gift any of our packages with a voucher or I can tailor make one for your preference.

When can I book a photoshoot for?

I tailor each shoot around you, generally I  operate 7 days a week 9am-9pm, enabling each shoot to work around your schedule. The best time for outdoor photography is the golden hour which changes each day so that's something to keep in mind.

How will my images look?

Options for both unedited, edited, colour and black and white versions of your final photos. High resolution images at 300DPI format for printings and low resolution at 72DPI format for social media.

How long does it take to get my images?

I like to get your photos to you asap, sometimes you’ll be able to view on the same day but please allow up to a week for final edited images.

What area do you cover?

I’m based in Bedfordshire and willing to travel within 30 miles of here, this includes Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire. If you are interested in hiring me for an event further afield just get in contact.

What if I need to cancel?

Life can be unpredictable so I try to be as flexible as possible, if you need to move your booking I’ll give you 24hrs notice to rearrange, for cancelation please do so 48hrs before the day of booking. Obviously if mother nature isn’t playing along at short notice then I’ll treat that as special circumstances and we can make an arrangement by mutual agreement.
